The Team

Ben Buckle
Manager & Part-Owner of German Automotive.

Ben Buckle began his European vehicle career at the former luxury car dealer Peck & Stokes. Training on BMW, Ben became an award winning apprentice before broadening his knowledge at Geelong’s Volkswagen, Audi and Renault dealer. Ben’s passion for his work, and in particular prestige European cars, is clearly apparent with the quality of his workmanship. In 2007 Ben joined Hunter Cuthill and is now joint owner and manager of German Automotive.

Sarah Jones

Sarah’s broad role at GA covers all manner of administration work and beyond. Challenged with the responsibility of managing nearly every other aspect of German Automotive that does not include working on vehicles, she does an exceptional job. Especially competent and genuinely friendly, you will find her an absolute pleasure to deal with. We are very proud to have Sarah as the first point of contact for the German Automotive team.

Michael Kynoch
Qualified Technician

Michael comes to us from the dealer, as he sought to find more challenging and in depth work with an independent European vehicle specialist. Michael is able to handle our most complex work on all Euro makes. He has a true passion for cars spending a significant amount of his spare time restoring project cars to showroom condition. Michael has become a fantastic technician over the course of his time with us.

Sebastian Pretorius
Qualified Technician

Sebastian jumped at the opportunity to begin a challenging apprenticeship with German Automotive, which he has since completed. It has been very satisfying watching him learn the trade and become a technician capable of handling some of the most complex work carried out in our workshop. We are very proud of “Seabass” and the personality he brings to our team. Seabass is also a loved member of the Bannockburn Football Club.

Daniel Aarons
Qualified Technician

Daniel joins the team at GA after already completing his apprenticeship at the dealer. Like Michael, he sought to find more challenging and in depth work with European vehicles. Daniel demonstrates a high quality of work and is an all ‘round nice guy – traits we value highly at German Automotive. Daniel not only has a true passion for cars but is a talented photographer.

Luke Coppe

Luke aka “Head of the Apprentice Department” is now well on his way to becoming a fully qualified European vehicle technician . Luke is as friendly as he is hard working and his easy going nature and natural competency have made in a much loved member of our team. We are very happy to have Luke on board and we are sure that with guidance and training from our qualified technicians, he will become a top class technician.

Lachlan Arnold

Lachie is our newest team member and has started the journey to become a fully qualified European vehicle technician by beginning an apprenticeship with us. Lachie not only has a genuine enthusiasm for cars but has a very friendly manner and isn’t afraid of hard work. These qualities will not only make him a valued team member but with time and experience, an excellent technician.
